Counter-Narrative Film and Video Production 

Khadija-Awa Diop is a documentary filmmaker and counter-narrative storyteller. She completed an undergraduate degree in Film Studies and Africana Studies, a Masters of Science in Journalism and is pursuing her PhD in Communication, Information and Media. As a daughter of Senegalese immigrants she finds her passion in telling the stories of people who's narratives and perspectives have been swept under the rug by mainstream media.
